- In the metro Richmond real estate market North of the James River (City of Richmond-Areas 10/20/30/32 & Western Henrico-Areas 22/34) there were a total of 275 sales in October 2009. The average selling price for that period was $241,386. Certain sections of the city experienced an increase in both sales and average selling price while other areas had a decrease in sales and average selling price. It is a great time to buy if you know where to look, as a real estate expert in the Richmond and West End market.
